Project Overview

With Hope is a direct primary care clinic located in Southwest Iowa. Unlike a regular healthcare clinic, DPC clinics are membership based and take out the middleman when it comes to payments and working with insurance.

Hope came to me at the beginning of her DPC journey – she had worked for a DPC clinic in the city and wanted to bring the accessible service to her small town. She knew the importance of having a meaningful identity for her business and wanted to get in front of her potential patients. As Hope’s clinic did not yet have a name when we began working together, the first phase of the project was naming the clinic. After brainstorming and research, we decided on “With Hope” – an ode to Hope’s name and the reassurance you will have when being cared for by her. Or having hope in your healthcare again!

The icon for With Hope is a butterfly – an iconic symbol of hope. Hope to keep moving forward whether in life, health, or your wellness journey. The typography is bold, yet delicate and feminine, and has a mixture of rounded corners and sharp edges to symbolize the approachable and accessible model of Hope’s clinic. Blue and green, common colors used in the healthcare industry, are the primary colors of the palette with the incorporation of purple to symbolize relatability and hope. Mixing those with neutral, earthy tones balance out the palette and create a welcoming, connected feeling for patients.
